I LOVE Halloween.

My wonderful husband carved my design for me. I felt like a freak just sitting there smelling the wonderful smell of fresh jack-o-lantern. Its such a nostalgic smell and I am such a sensory person. YUM!

Getting ready for 2 Halloween costume contests tomorrow. One for work and one for a party. I also baked this awesome meatloaf in the shape of a hand with nails and burnt skin. Tastes amazing but looks revolting. SO RAD.

I have to owe this idea to my husband. He really wanted to use the copious amount of candy his sister Mandi had brought into the house for the trick or treaters (they are in wrappers! Still sanitary!).

All good. His sister kept looking at us weird and calling us dorks as we tried to get this together. All good though. I love it!

I GOT MY PRINT IN THE MAIL TODAY!

This makes Obey #3 in my collection.

Shaun and I almost drove up to Pittsburgh to get this one from the Warhol Museum. Lucky for me a friend of a friend was happy to pick it up and mail it over. Thank you Rachel!

So yeah… I tried my best at this… and honestly, I have a new found appreciation for rotoscoping. This kicked my ass. Pardon the crappiness but I TRIED!

Giving my pin curls a dry run before Halloween. I need to make sure that they will look okay or I need to go invest in a curler set. Poor Shaun – I have to teach him how to do the back of my head since I can’t reach it.

I definitely have an interesting story to go with the 5-6 pin curls I accomplished! While spraying a piece of hair, wonderful klutzy me dropped the hair spray can on the floor, tip first on the floor, lodging it in place causing it to spray wildly and spray everywhere. the genius that I am I ran for it eyes open and everything getting a big spray in the eyes/contact lenses.

After messing with it as its spraying everywhere, I recovered lol!

Our pumpkin is normally waiting patiently for us at near our front door every day when we come home. I am getting REALLY IMPATIENT. The pumpkin carving process if probably one of my most favorite things about Halloween and waiting until next week is going to be sooooo hard.

Clue #2 for our Halloween costumes (I’m really not giving you much to work with here).

Thought I would have a dramatic hands pose and make it silly with my costume making shenanigans.

T-Minus 11 days to Halloween and its crunch time. I didn’t realize how close it was and how far I was away from finishing my husbands costume for our duo. Last year we were a pair of elderly people. We looked so good in our make up that even parents were waving to us like we were older while the trick-or-treaters came to the door for some candy. You would think the lip ring Shaun has would have given it away……
