I’ve decided to put a little more effort into my “about me” page. I don’t really like talking about me specifically, but what the hell, I’ll give it a shot.

My name is Erica. I am a proud, native Texan that resides in one of the most amazing cities – Austin. I am a dreamer – which gets me in trouble more often than its worth and I want to experience everything and meet everyone. I love to travel, epecially with my bestfriend and husband Shaun. I think that everyone’s perspective on the world can change with a little bit of backpacking and hostel hopping.

I have been to Barbados, Japan and the UK. We plan on heading out to Egypt later this year and hopefully backpacking through South America the next. I live very humbly and spend all my money on chances to see the world.

Yes, I am a wee bit bitter with the cards that have been handed me and most often I have a realist and cynical view of the world (which conflicts with my dreamer side most often) so this blog is dedicated to my path in this world and experiences. To me, experiences are life.
