55 hours down. 5 more to go on my Saturday extra extra overtime. Almost there. So tired.

Thank you Cammy for your awesome inspiration.
Expect me to drop by relatively soon to look at your lighting arsenal. <3

Happy 100th to me!
I figured, why the hell not – no one else in my household likes to play dominoes with me, I might as well play with my past, present, and future of myself.
Yes, the one on the left is pretty much exactly how I looked at 16 – t-shirt and all.
Not sure if you can see my old person make up on the right though. I’m hoping it looks alright.

Always been a stargazer my entire life. My mom used to have to drag me down the ladder and into the house when I would camp out on the roof with my telescope as a kid.
As Austin becomes bigger and bigger the stars are slowly fading away into the light pollution. Believe it or not but this was taken at about 1am.

Took a late night bike ride when we got home from work. Needed to get my mind off the issue at hand. My dear friend Kristina had been in labor since about 5am this morning and we had all been awaiting the news.
Good news though! Aubrey was 6lbs 6 ounces and the first baby in our group of friends (we have all known each other for many MANY years and have grown up together).
Grats to Kristina and Dustin!

One of the most awesome things about living in Texas is the combinations of cultures that exist here. I get to have tacos and I get to experience the awesomeness of German/Czech culture of beer and BBQ (smoked, tender, awesome brisket FTW).
Today we celebrated Wurstfest – or 10 days of the celebration of sausage and beer. It. Was. AWESOME.
This is John and I hanging out by the river drinking out Shiner Bock and enjoying the lovely Texas autumn afternoon. <3

Sorry guys – had to bust out the snowflake lights again. They are just too much fun and my mind is a bit scatterbrained after the pitcher I had on the way home from work. Enjoy!

I wait for the cold weather to come and it teases me every time!
I’ll be prepared when it comes!
